Ophelia’s Jump offers a variety of workshops and classes for both adults and younger performers!
Our Educational programs’ focus is formative rather than performative with the overall goal of engendering a well-rounded knowledge and love for theatre in a supportive, enriching, and fun environment. Since this is theatre, the learning journey will end in a culminating performance in which the participants will get to apply their learning.
Ophelia’s Jump is a non-profit company. All tuition and fees go towards paying teachers, royalties, and other direct production costs. Please help us to keep tuition as low as possible and to provide need-based scholarships by making a tax-deductible contribution today.

They will culminate their learning in a performance of an adaptation of Macbeth and presenting it at the 2019 Midsummer Shakespeare Festival.
Shakespeare Tech Camp Participants will learn basics of Stage Craft & Design and then get to apply their learning in real life experience working as the Design and Tech Crew for Mostly Macbeth.
Scholarships may be available based on need.
Our high school internships give students the opportunity to get real world experience in technical theatre fields such as props, stage crew, set construction, costuming, lighting, painting, and sound under the mentorship of teaching artists and theatre professionals. Students can get support and documentation for service hour requirements needed for their high school programs. This real-world experience is a great way to acquire an experience base for college applications and or theatre related employment.
