Be a Producer!
Achieving high production values requires substantial artistic and financial resources. No theatre can cover it’s production costs solely on ticket sales. Though we stretch every penny and work on shoestring budgets, we need the help of patrons who are willing to support our theatre and its programs at a higher level. Our costs vary between 15,000- 30,000 per production, to keep ticket prices reasonable in a 49 seat space, we need the help of producers, sponsors and underwriters. By becoming a producer you can be directly involved in making thought provoking, soul stirring theatre happen. Next season Ophelia’s Jump has a goal of contracting Equity artists. This is an important step in moving towards our goal of becoming the only Equity house in our corner of Los Angeles County.
Producers receive credit in the show programs, and print media as well as on our website. Season producers’s names are displayed in our lobby.
