Every Saturday, join us for the Improv Drop-In! This is a great way to learn about improvisation, build confidence, and have fun whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro. Each week will take on a different focus. Pay $15 at the door when you come in each time OR buy 10 classes now to bring your price to $13 a class!
Purchasing the 10 class enrollment means that you will simply check in whenever you decide to drop by to redeem your class credit. Classes are subject to cancellation at OJP’s discretion. Pre-purchased class credits have no expiration date!
Our unique approach to developing the skills and confidence of young actors with fun, empowering, and imaginative techniques and standards-based curriculum. Participants will learn to be free, brave, interesting, and skilled performers. The class can be taken several times as skills will continue to build. Students who have mastered beginning skills can move into higher levels to be offered in future cycles.
Acting & Production
This 12 week course includes instruction in Acting, Movement, and Vocal Music by theatre & education professionals all put into practice in the rehearsal process and culminating production.

Shakespeare Summer Camp
AGES: 10-14 (5TH-8TH GRADE)
Shakespeare Camp participants will learn about Shakespearean tropes, and conventions, along with improvisation, movement, voice, and stage combat techniques from professional actors and educators. They will culminate their learning by devising an adaptation of Macbeth and presenting it at the 2019 Midsummer Shakespeare Festival.
During the 8 week course, participants will learn about set construction, painting, costuming, & lighting. They will apply their learning in completing fun projects using actual theatrical materials and equipment.
Our high school internships give students the opportunity to get real world experience in technical theatre fields such as props, stage crew, set construction, costuming, lighting, painting, and sound under the mentorship of teaching artists and theatre professionals. Students can get support and documentation for service hour requirements needed for their high school programs. This real-world experience is a great way to acquire an experience base for college applications and or theatre related employment.
Fall Term classes are beginning on the week of September 24th.
